SAP Consultant (m/f/d)

In this role, you will advise our customers on the analysis, stabilization and optimization of their business-critical SAP processes in the areas of Secondary Distribution Management (SDM), SD/MM, logistics and billing. You will combine a strong understanding of business processes with technical SAP expertise, helping customers better understand their operations, resolve issues sustainably and make their processes more efficient.

The focus is not purely on incident handling, but on process advisory: you will identify patterns, analyze root causes, uncover opportunities for improvement and translate them into SAP solutions together with customers and internal expert teams. You will be a good fit for us if you want to actively advise our customers on best practices, build in-depth process knowledge in the SAP SDM environment, understand the interdependencies of productive operations and help customers establish stable, future-ready processes.

Process Advisory, Customer Consulting and Business Process Outsourcing

• You will analyze our customers’ end-to-end processes across sales, logistics, supply, distribution and billing
• You will advise customers on stabilizing, simplifying and sustainably optimizing their existing SAP processes
• You will translate business requirements and operational issues into concrete solution approaches aligned with SAP Best Practices
• You will identify recurring root causes, process breaks and opportunities for improvement in productive operations

SAP Analysis and Solution Design

• You will analyze SAP system behavior, configuration, data flows, interfaces and dependencies
• You will use your technical understanding, including ABAP and debugging skills, to investigate root causes thoroughly
• You will evaluate solution options in terms of process impact, stability, maintainability and customer value
• You will document findings so that they are clear and reusable for customers and internal teams

• Several years of experience consulting on SAP logistics processes, ideally including IS-OIL
• A good understanding of end-to-end processes in logistics, sales, supply, distribution or billing
• Experience in customer consulting, process analysis, support or SAP projects close to productive operations
• Enthusiasm for building in-depth process knowledge and advising customers as a trusted point of contact on best practices and sustainable process improvements
• Several years of experience with ABAP and CDS views
• An interest in modern technologies and tools such as SAP BTP, the SAP Integrated Toolchain and AI tools
• The ability to connect business requirements, operational processes and technical system behavior
• An analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach, combined with strong customer communication skills
• Very good English skills, German skills are a plus
